Completed in 2017, The Colonel is a five-story, urban infill, mixed-use development project in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s rapidly expanding 9th Street Corridor.

The redeveloped historic 1920s building features 70 luxury residential units ranging from luxury studio apartments to a top-floor penthouse, plus 8,200 SF of retail space on the first floor. Amenities include a courtyard, rooftop deck, balconies, a catering kitchen, controlled access, and a bike room.

Named for Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, Cmdr. of the 1st African American Regiment in the US Army during the Civil War and namesake of the Shaw Neighborhood.
